Yon-Ka were the Pioneers of Phytotherapy in 1954. It is the first formal medicine known to man that uses the entirety of the plant or one of its parts to treat a broad spectrum of skin conditions. The plant extract may be aqueous soft or dry and its multiple components peptides, vitamins, carbohydrates, lipids, polyphenols and trace elements.
Aromachology is a specialized sub-science of aromatherapy that studies specific changes in human behaviour when exposed to different scents. It examines the relationship between feelings and emotions such as relaxation, exhilaration, sensuality, happiness and well-being brought about by odours that stimulate the olfactory pathways in the brain and in particular, the limbic system.
